Below are guidelines with instructions on how to submit a request to the City of Houston, Public Works and Engineering Department to acknowledge the reversion of an easement deed which contains reverter language. Please submit the Affidavit of Easement Reverter, all other necessary documents, and the Request for Acknowledgement Reverter Letter, online to Fabian.heaney@cityofhouston.net or in person at 611 Walker, 21st Floor, Houston, TX.
The following file contains the Easement Reverter Procedure from the beginning of the process where the customer determines if a "reverter clause" exists in the dedication deed to the end of the process where a copy of recorded document is sent to the customer.
